Saudi Strategic Business Development "BUD" has operated in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ("KSA") and the Gulf region since the early 2000’s. Our mission: aligning with ‘best in class’ organizations interested in expanding into KSA and the broader Gulf region. Depending upon a particular company’s needs and strategic plans, BUD and its affiliates serve as exclusive agent in KSA or the broader Gulf and MENA region, or as a local joint venture partner through its affiliates.

BUD is headquartered in Khobar, Dhahran, Eastern Province and branching in the Capital city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The importance of the MENA and the Gulf region, especially the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia cannot be emphasized. Saudi market opportunity alone has reached a $1 trillion that is driving the booming Saudi economy. This is no coincidence in a country boasting the world’s largest proven reserves of oil and gas, comprising more than 280 Billion barrels of oil, based on current engineered estimates. Furthermore, it is the leading producing member of OPEC, and the largest exporter of crude oil to the developed world, with current production targeted just over nine million (9,000,000) barrels of oil per day. Total production capacity is now reaching twelve and one-half million (12,500,000) barrels of oil per day. Known gas reserves are 249 trillion cubic feet, and gas demand is expected to reach 14.5 bcf/day in coming years, compared to 5.5 bcf presently. Despite recent turmoil in world markets and worldwide financial crisis, Saudi Arabia major companies such as Saudi Aramco, Sabic Maaden and various government development in the economic cities and railroads continues with high speed to invest in the future.

While market conditions certainly impact decision-making and the financial viability of projects, Saudi Aramco has maintained most investment plans related to production increases, particularly preparing for the future offshore. Investment is also focused on creating the infrastructure necessary for Saudi Arabia to remain competitive over the long-term, including clusters of petrochemical activity and the requisite production of natural gas to fuel growth. In this regard, BUD maintains a creditable relationship with Saudi Aramco ("Aramco"), which provide an extensive array of projects, products and services to Saudi Aramco. BUD also maintains relationships with reputable regional contractors and other sizable Saudi Arabian organizations, namely, Saudi Arabian Basic Industries Corporationc, SABIC as one of the world's leading manufacturers of chemicals, fertilizers, plasticsSaudi Arabian Mining Company Ma’aden and the Saudi Arabia’s Four New Economic Cities fully planned and under construction – are exactly that: new cities, where up to five million residents will live, work and play.

"BUD" consultants use the global resources available to them as well as their deep local knowledge in Saudi Arabia to create essential advantage and help clients build their local, regional, and global capabilities.

Our work in Saudi Arabia ranges from the establishment of joint ventures and strategic alliances, thus building clients’ capabilities and expanding the scope of cooperation between regional and global firms. Our staff further assists companies with whom we work, targeting specific opportunities.
